Another blogger shared an idea about keeping a gratitude journal-but then they mentioned being proud too of themselves. So I thought okay, I can journal about something I’m proud of myself for everyday in addition to something I’m grateful for.
Today I bought a journal and am ‘geared up’ to write daily about one thing (at least) that I did that I am proud of myself for. The other piece is to say something I’m grateful for. So between those two things I think I will be improving my mental outlook. In addition to recognizing the things I do well that I normally ignore I’ll be feeling gratitude. Thus, I am going to keep a gratitude/pride journal! Don’t worry, I’m confident my head will not inflate(much) 😉 .
