Meditation On a Moth’s Life

I’m sharing this post because it made me cry! I felt so humbled and touched by Lijiun’s compassion and wisdom for one moth. May you be touched as well 🙂

  1. I loved the post! Thank you for sharing it! I said there that the moth must have been a messenger coming by to pay his visit for people in that house!
Such messengers often come in a shape of butterflies, kittens, stray dogs etc.
It always touches me how some people know to recognize it and appreciate every living creature! God bless

    • Yes, I loved it too. Thanks for reading! I think that’s a good point. I’d not thought of the moth being a messenger but he could have been. All the same I’m still sniffling and tearing up! I’m going to have to bury any moths that I come across now inside my home (when it’s Spring though as the ground is too hard now).

  2. Reblogged this on Finding Health After Illness and commented:

Okay, I posted this on my other blog but am going to reblog on this one too. This story just made me cry so unexpectedly that I thought it worth sharing. We could all learn a thing or two from Lijiun who originally posted about the moth. No creature is too small for our compassion!
